A student of humanity, Emily is passionate about communicating, connecting and inspiring growth, healing, and thriving in our world.

Early in her career, Emily found out how everything can look good on paper but inside so much meaning and fulfillment can be missing. (Ask her about how walking away from the White House launched her on a quest to answer the question, “What really matters?”)

Life Coaching: Emily enjoys partnering with her clients as they re-invent themselves in times of transition and find clarity around their personal mission, vision and values. She is passionate about her clients strengthening their own genuine connection to themselves, others & God. She will integrate the spiritual into her work when the client desires. Emily also enjoyed training other Coaches within the Laurie Beth Jones, Path Coach Training Program.

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor: Emily has spent over a decade working with children, teens, adults and families. She is a believer that a successful life is going home to love your family well. Most of us want that too but sometimes need tools, perspective and a clear path forward towards a better connection. Her favorite modalities are Solution Focused Brief Therapy, various personality assessments, as well as Trauma Competent Caregiving.

Communications, Training, Podcasting: A coach to coaches, in the workplace and non-profit setting Emily has coached teams in developing higher levels of engagement, personality awareness and EQ. Emily also worked in service to Human Resource professionals ensuring new hires were a good fit. One of her favorite projects, where she earned a PhD. in joy, was creating and co-hosting a podcast with a lifelong friend who is also a coach.

Personally, Emily is happily married and returned to the workforce after staying home to raise her small children who are now in full day school. “Life is already full and yet I don’t want to miss the even more that God has. I believe deeply in the work happening here. Being on the team at Learn2Thrive is a true joy.”
